Charles is an accomplished leader with nearly two decades of success in the hospitality and development industries.
Educated at Northern Michigan University, Finlandia University, and an array of practical hands-on experiences, Charles has delivered results throughout his career.
In co-founding Base Hospitality Group, Charles sought to offer Base employees an opportunity to express themselves, flourish in their own roles, and be amply rewarded for their achievements.

Josh is an extensively credentialed and dedicated leader with over ten years of experience in organizational leadership, hospitality management, and business turnarounds.
Joshua holds a bachelor’s in business administration and an MBA in Lean Leadership from Central Michigan University while also being certified to teach Business and Accounting in the state of Michigan.
In co-founding Base Hospitality Group, Josh sought to create an environment in which results are delivered the right way, all the way, each day.

Hailing from the small town of Baraga in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, Cheryne grew up surrounded by the beauty of the U.P. Cheryne brings a wealth of experience in health, fitness, and business management to her role as Director of Guest Experience with the Base Hospitality Team. A proud alumna of Northern Michigan University, she earned her bachelor’s degree in Management of Health and Fitness.
In 2020, Cheryne and her husband launched Marquette Fit Body Boot Camp, aiming to transform lives within their community. Over four years, their dedication led to the expansion of their mission, culminating in the opening of a second location in Escanaba, extending their positive impact across Michigan’s Upper Peninsula.
Balancing entrepreneurship and family, Cheryne is the proud mother of two sons, Easton and Brody. In 2022, she furthered her education by obtaining a master’s degree from Michigan State University’s Broad College of Business.
Joining the Base Hospitality Team in September 2024, Cheryne serves as the Director of Guest Experience. Her passion for fostering a sense of belonging and enhancing well-being aligns seamlessly with the company’s commitment to exceptional service. She is dedicated to ensuring that every guest feels valued and experiences the highest standards of hospitality.

Jim is a Marquette native with a fourteen year career in the accounting and finance fields. He spent ten years as a senior analyst for The Bank of New York Mellon before joining Base in 2020.
In his free time, Jim enjoys golfing, playing hockey, and hiking with his dog, Fisher.

Ty is originally from Green Bay and moved to Marquette in 1996 to attend NMU. Upon completion at NMU, he began his career with Apria Healthcare in Marquette. After sampling a couple industries, he decided Accounting was the right fit for his skills. He excelled in the accounting department at Frei Chevrolet in Marquette for roughly 12 years. Upon his departure from Frei, he held a few different positions, but accounting kept calling – and that’s how he ended up with Base. He joined Base in May of 2022, brining his 15 years of accounting experience with him. He’s excited to be part of the Base team and looks forward to what the future holds!
Ty’s wife Julie is from the Houghton area and is a local business owner with her two partners. Together, they have one son, Landon, who is 13 (almost 14) and in their down time, they enjoy hanging out with friends and family. The two also enjoy watching Landon play sports as well as enjoying the incredible summers the UP has to offer.

Banjo is a Marquette, MI native and is heavily involved in Base's construction projects. From ground up to renovations, Banjo is involved with subcontractors, material providers, and Base's in-house construction team to ensure projects are finished to Base standards.
Banjo has spent his life working in the trades and is well versed in construction methods and life safety standards.
He enjoys spending time with his wife, Jaime, and their children exploring the outdoors.

Neeco is a Marquette, MI native with a diverse background of leadership and hospitality roles. His grandparents opened the first Italian restaurant in Marquette, the Villa Capri, in 1967. It was there that Neeco, from a very young age, learned his way around the hospitality industry.
From the foundational character building lessons in the kitchen at the Villa, Neeco developed into a strong leader. He has led teams in several unique capacities: two ice hockey national championships at Lindenwood University, General Management roles for major national retailers, and most recently Chief-of-Staff for Michigan's House of Representatives 110th District.
Neeco is an integral part of Base's operational and strategic planning core.
He lives in Marquette with his wife, Katie, and two children. Neeco loves giving back to his hometown, volunteering on local boards, youth athletics, and being an all around great citizen.

Autumn is a highly credentialed hospitality leader. She has spent fifteen years in the hotel industry, working in every position and leadership capacity the industry offers.
She is known for her tenacity and lead-by-example leadership style. Autumn's employees know her as an encourager and for rewarding them for exceeding expectations.
Autumn enjoys traveling with her family and exploring the great outdoors when she's away from the office.
